Winston sent me a message the other day concerning the status of this site.
The version of the software being used is older and has issues that make it difficult to set up the functions we want as well as security issues. I am not a software kind of person, but I believe the security issues are what limits how much stuff members can do. If we get permissions to do what we want, we also have access to stuff that can screw up the site. Winston was able to give me access to moderate posts to get rid of spam, but as a moderator I can not ban or delete a member. This is due to limitations of the software.
He is putting all of the info on this site into a new site which will be easier to work with and more secure. I don't know the timeline on this, but hopefully it will make things better for all.
In the mean time, may i suggest that all of those wishing to show photos of their cars, and I for one want to see them, start a thread for your car on the updates page
http://laser917.net/forum/viewforum.php?forum_id=17 and post photos by loading your pics to a photo sharing site such as photobucket and then using img to link them.
